EventFrame Privacy Policy

Summary

EventFrame collects photos from the guests at your event into one shared album that the organizer owns. Guests sign in with Apple rather than creating a separate EventFrame password. Event photos are stored on our hosting provider so the album can be shared and downloaded, and they are removed automatically after the event window ends.

Data we collect

  • Sign in with Apple identifier. We use the identifier Apple provides to authenticate the organizer and each guest. We do not receive your Apple ID password. Apple may provide a relay email if the user chooses to share one; EventFrame does not require a separate profile form.
  • Event photos and videos. Media a guest captures in EventFrame is uploaded to the organizer's shared album. Originals stay private to the event; small JPEG previews are generated on the device to fill the browse grid.
  • Event details. The event name, date, template, and guest roster needed to run the album.
  • Purchase verification. Apple transaction identifiers and signed transaction data are checked to grant the selected tier to the correct organizer and event and to process refunds or revocations. We do not receive payment card details.
  • Limited event activity. Privacy-safe share events and aggregate event totals may be used to show organizers media, contributor, share, and peak-activity counts. We do not use them for advertising tracking.
  • We do not collect identifiers for advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell your data.

Photo storage and retention

Event media is stored on Supabase, our hosting and database provider, with access controlled so only the organizer and joined guests of an event can see that event's album. Each tier has an upload window and a storage window measured from when the event is created. After the storage window ends, the album and its media are purged automatically.

  • Free: 7-day upload window and 7-day storage.
  • Celebration: 3-month upload window and 6-month storage.
  • Gathering: 6-month upload window and 12-month storage.
  • Grand Event: 12-month upload window and 12-month storage.

Download the full album as a ZIP before the storage window ends if you want to keep the originals.

Organizer control and moderation

The organizer owns and controls the album and can hide photos. Every guest upload is approval-first, so it waits for organizer review before other guests can see it. Organizers can reject content or block a contributor from the event.

Purchases

EventFrame is free to download. Tier purchases apply to one event and are processed by Apple. A later higher tier is a separate full-price purchase. There is no subscription, and we do not receive your payment card details. EventFrame verifies purchases with its backend and stores the tier granted to the event. Purchase history and refunds are managed through your Apple ID in Settings → Apple Account → Purchase History, or via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Account deletion

You can delete your account inside EventFrame from Account settings. After confirmation, events you organize and their media are removed, along with your guest memberships and contributions to other events. Apple transaction identifiers may be retained only as required for refunds, fraud prevention, and financial records; they are not used for advertising.

Third parties

Apple provides Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, and on-device camera and photo services. Supabase provides authentication, database, and media storage that host the shared album. We do not share event media with any other third party.
