FlowForge Notes Privacy Policy

Summary

FlowForge Notes processes your voice and note content on your iPhone by default. We do not operate a cloud account for core capture, transcription, or Apple Intelligence polish. Optional cloud polish and meeting summaries use your own AI provider key (Claude or ChatGPT) and only run when you enable them.

Data we collect

• Audio and note content stay on your device for the default capture path. Notes may sync via your iCloud account when you use inbox or relay features.
• Your content leaves the device only when you turn on optional cloud polish or a cloud meeting summary, or when you export a note to a destination you connect (see Third parties).
• We do not collect identifiers for advertising or cross-app tracking.
• FlowForge has an opt-in crash-reporting toggle that is off by default. No crash or diagnostic data leaves your device unless you enable it.

Meeting Mode

Meeting Mode records audio on your iPhone and transcribes it, labels speakers, and summarizes it on device. The recording and transcript stay on your device. A cloud summary runs only if you turn it on, using your own AI provider key. Before your first recording, FlowForge reminds you that recording-consent laws vary by location and that following them is your responsibility.

Purchases

FlowForge Notes is free to download. FlowForge Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Purchase history and refunds are managed through your Apple ID in Settings → Apple Account → Purchase History, or via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Third parties

Apple provides App Store billing, iCloud sync, Apple Intelligence, and on-device speech services. If you enable optional cloud polish or a cloud meeting summary, only text (a transcript or note, never your audio) is sent to the AI provider you choose, Claude or ChatGPT, using your own API key. When you connect a destination and export a note, its content is sent to that service: Todoist, Notion, or Google Drive (each note is saved as a Google Doc in a folder FlowForge creates), through the official API of the service you connected. Apple Notes, a Files folder, and your Obsidian vault stay within your own devices and iCloud.
